REACTION

In the sumptuous environment of West Perth's Onyx Bar, over 200 guests experienced two striking new works from Visible Dance, with the exotic sounds of the Cloud Kollektiv's ethnic dub / electronic jazz, and soul singer Cle Wootton.

The event was a huge success for Visible Dance, the night was an exciting and stimulating experience for our guests, who were predominantly new to contemporary dance.

Highlights included a powerful epic piece of spoken word performed live by poet Jeremy Balius, as soundtrack and inspiration for a duet by David Mueller and Lana Dodds, and a stunning solo performance by Elyse Huxtable that left the audience cheering.

Reaction was choreographed by Pamela Konijn & David Mueller, with dancers, and performed by Kelly Fitt, David Mueller, Lana Dodds, Elyse Huxtable and Gillian Sarangapany. The original score for both works was created by Perth musicians Trilby Temperley and David Scharpf.
