Visible Dance is a great initiative by these young Australian dancers. With so many of our own dancers compelled to leave Perth in search of work, I strongly support this project which seeks to increase the vibrancy of the contemporary dance scene in our own city by introducing their art to whole new audiences.

Come experience Sphere at the Quarry Amphitheatre from 24 to 26 March.

Sphere is an exploration of our planet and of our selves through contemporary dance. Hold on tight while you're guided on a tumultuous journey down through the layers of the Earth, into strange worlds down into the climactic molten core, the heart of it all.

Featuring a cast of fourteen amazing WAAPA dance graduates, Sphere is choreographed by Stephanie Tulloch, Kylie Murray, Peter Fares and Lucy Sedlacek.

About Visible Dance

We are a new contemporary dance company, located in Perth, Western Australia. Visible Dance works with brilliant dancers trained at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.

Visible Dance's primary focus is to revitalise the audience for contemporary dance in Perth. We believe that for a long time now, contemporary dance has simply too inaccessible and too hard to find. We also believe that there is a huge potential audience in Perth. Our mission is to get Perth's fantastic dance talent out there, engaged with and celebrated by the community.

With a range of strategies to introduce contemporary dance to new audiences, and take it to a few places it's never been, we are about to make it a whole lot easier to be into dance in Perth.
